The Henriette Grocery Bag

My Daughter's Garden is a small handbag company with a passion for style and more importantly,

the environment. As a mother of three, I wanted a grocery bag that would fold neatly and compactly

for ease of running errands. MDG has designed a fabric grocery bag similar to that of a plastic bag.

Our bag, made from 4.4 or 4.5 oz cotton, is durable, washable and overlock stitched for strength. We recommend to our customers to use them as they would a plastic bag. . . they even hang on those metal bars for ease of loading and they can hold more than the average plastic bag!

While we strongly recommend using organic fabric, we also believe in using what is already out there

to reduce landfill waste. From time to time, we come across fabrics that would otherwise be thrown away

and try to make something from it. If and when we find fabric such as this, we will offer grocery bags in

limited quantities at a lower price point. Check back often for new fabrics available!
